Located near the Garden Cafe, there is a small private area where a Keralan masseur will provide for you either ayurvedic oil or traditional local body massage. Booking are essential.
Timings are 9.00am – 9.00pm daily.
There is a daily laundry service provided by Hotel Mandawa Haveli. Please use the laundry bag located in your room, insert the completed laundry sheet and bring to reception before 9.00am. Your clothes will be returned in the evening by 8.00pm.
Located on the first floor, there is an quiet and comforatble area for you to sit and relax or learn to play the local board game, Carom. A number of Indian coffee-table books, together with magazines, are available for you to read.
Also located in the Hukka Bar. You will find a small selection of goods available for sale, including post cards; jewellery, soaps and body care products, textiles, Madhubani art paper products and home wares. All products are made in India and where possible sourced from small crafts persons or NGOs supporting small communities.
On request and subject to a minimum of 2 persons. The demonstration and tasting of local Rajasthani food include vegetarian and non-vegetarian items similar. The demonstration (approx. 1 1/2- 2 hrs) can be arranged for either morning (10.00am) or afternoon (2.30pm).
A sample of food being prepared could include: Tomato chutney; Kari pakora; Stuffed eggplant; Chicken and spinach; Bati (traditional bread).
On request and subject to a maximum number per cart: camel – 4 persons and donkey 2 persons. The sunset ride will commence at Hotel Mandawa Haveli entrance one hour prior to sunset. You will sit on large comfortable cushions on a traditional cart and will be taken through town before heading to the outskirts to capture the magnificent Shekhawati sunset. Shortly after sunset, you will return to Hotel Mandawa Haveli. Tea, biscuits, and water are included.
